WHAT IS THE BARSTOOL CLASSIC?
Competitive golf the Barstool way.
In 2019, we set out to build for the common golfer the greatest combination of competition, camaraderie, and fun the golf world had ever seen. We succeeded.
We are back again in 2025 for our 7th season and it’s going to be better than ever. Once again, teams of two playing at 50% handicap in the four-ball, stroke play format. The top 4 team net scores from each qualifier advance to the Championship in Scottsdale, Arizona on November 17th - 19th, 2025.
Player Eligibility
All players must have a Handicap Index that is calculated by the USGA and distributed through the Allied Golf Associations (AGAs) to be eligible for advancement and prizes. A Handicap ID can typically be found on your handicap card or from your golf club. It may also be referred to as a GHIN #, CDGA #, WSGA #, IGA #, Grint #, MyScorecard #, GolfNet # or CCID#. If you use Golf Net or US Handicap, your online club must be compliant with the USGA. This can be found in your profile by clicking on the hyperlinked online club name.
For our Canadian friends who cannot get a verified HC Index via the USGA, you are still eligible to play and win prizes if you have a verified Handicap index through a Canadian Golf Association.
ALL PLAYERS MUST BE 21+ AT THE TIME OF YOUR QUALIFIER.
What’s Included?
A team's registration fee covers 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch, Truly Hard Seltzer all day, a tee gift, prizes, and more. If your team advances, you’ll earn a spot at the Championship. Players will be responsible for their own travel & lodging.
What’s the prize?
The victors of the 2025 Barstool Classic will win $20,000 and have their names etched forever onto the coveted Commissioner's Cup.
